For Week of February 8, 2021

This week’s focus is on spiritual warfare as a reality in the Christian life. In the 6th chapter of Ephesians, the Apostle Paul refers to the armor of God as an important ingredient for the walk of faith. Let us pray for strength this week, as we face our battles, knowing that we have an enormous resource in order to be victorious.

Monday

Pray for God’s strength as you put on the armor of God.

Read and meditate on Ephesians 6:10

Tuesday

Pray for the power to stand against what is wrong around you.

Read and meditate on Ephesians 6:11

Wednesday

Pray for the discernment to see the work of evil, the devil and demons.

Read and meditate on Ephesians 6:12

Thursday

Pray for the ability to endure when the battle is an intense one.

Read and meditate on Ephesians 6:13

Friday

Pray as you name the details for your protection in Christ Jesus: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the readiness to share the gospel message, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit.

Read and meditate on Ephesians 6:14-17.

Saturday

Pray for an increased desire to pray about everything and on all occasions.

Read and meditate on Ephesians 6:18

Sunday

Pray for all believers who are in the throes of spiritual warfare.

Read and meditate on Ephesians 6:19-20.
